The Sound Den is a queer-owned electronic music label based in Albany, NY. We grew from a first solo-released EP into a home for queer artists and fans—curating releases, building community, and giving 5% of profits to programs that support queer individuals and create queer-inclusive spaces.

Whether you're an artist looking for a label that gets you or a listener who wants music that speaks to your world, we're here. We release music, support artists at every step, and show up for our community. Everyone belongs here.

King Taylor, coming from the heart of New York State, is an emerging force in the electronica music scene, characterized by his haunting melodies, lush pads, and dark basses. Embarking on his musical journey at just four years old, he received classical training with a singular focus on becoming a professional musician. This transformed into a career in electronica after an EDM-infused 6 years in Montreal. Influenced by the likes of Jykl&Hyde, Flume, and Hol!, King Taylor's sound is a tapestry of the atmospheric and immersive soundscapes that have shaped his years of musical exploration.
